Step 2 - Read & Agree
- SAFETY -
Fire extinguishers: 1 in each cabin, 1 in the Boat House and 1 outside Cabin #6.
Smoking and bonfires on the ground are not allowed on the property.

Children under age 15 must be supervised at the waterfront at any time of the year.
Please watch your children when crossing the road to the beach! It’s very hard to see the cars driving fast past the YC property.

Bring your own bath towels. Hand towels in the bathrooms are provided.
Pets are allowed only in Cabin #3 and #5.
Sheets are provided for both single & double beds and are stored in a container in the cabin.
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm until 7:00 am.
Please sort your garbage into 3 bags. These bags are in each cabin:
-Burnable garbage and plastic (プラ)together into the white bag with orange writing.
-Cans and glass (カン & ビン) into the clear bag with blue writing.
-PET bottles into the clear bag with black writing.
-Batteries and non-burnable, non-recyclable garbage have separate bins in the garbage shed.
- GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES -
You are expected to completely clean the cabin before leaving and take your trash to the garbage shed prior to check-out. Instructions are provided in each cabin.
Before leaving, take all used sheets, bathroom hand towels, bathmats, toilet rugs and kitchen towels to the laundry shed. Please sort them into the correct bins.
It is expected that guests take excellent care of all the equipment at YC—bicycles, barbecues, kids toys, recreation equipment and waterfront equipment—and put everything away that you use.
Please observe what your children use around the property and if they don’t put things away, put everything they use away out of courtesy for others on the property.
Anything that breaks, that your children break, or that you find broken or non-functional needs to be reported to the YC hosts right away.
- RESERVATION POLICIES -
Reservations can be made up to one year in advance. SEND International members may be allowed to make reservations further in advance with special permission. Missionary retreats may also qualify for advanced bookings.
No Sunday check-ins — so that the YC hosts can attend worship services on Sundays, check-in on Sunday will no longer be allowed. If you wish to arrive on Sunday, we will have to block off Saturday night for you. Depending on seasonal demand that may or may not be possible.
No single-night stays for individuals or families. For church retreats, if scheduling or financial factors do not allow for more than one night, we will allow single-night stays.
Arriving early or leaving late — this may be allowed if it does not conflict with other guests. You need permission from the hosts to arrive early or stay late. Of course, you may certainly spend extra time at other places around the lake—restaurants, parks, shops or a lakeside walk.
Step 3 - Review Additional information

Due to Japanese government restrictions for non-profit organizations, we cannot publish rates online. The rate for your stay will be given in your reservation email.
If your salary is paid by a church or Christian organization you will qualify for the “Christian Worker” rate. Those registering for a group will pay the per-person group rate, including the Christian worker organizing the group. All others pay the “group” rate. SEND members have a different discount rate.

The summer “vacation season” begins on Tuesday after “Ocean Day” (Umi-no-Hi) and continues for 6 weeks until the Tuesday between August 27 & Sept 2.
1. Reservations are made for a full week, from Tuesday to Tuesday.
2. From Feb. 1 — members of SEND International have priority in scheduling and may submit reservation requests (1 ~ 3 week stays).
3. From April 1 — non-SEND families/couples/singles will be scheduled for 1 week or 2 week stays. Requests can be made beginning Jan. 1 and will be put on a waiting list. They will be filled in the order they were received.
4. From May 1 — reservations will be taken for weekends or partial weeks to fill any openings remaining in the summer season. Priority will be given to families/singles/couples over church groups during the summer vacation season.

Christmas season is from Dec. 24~Jan. 2.
1. Reservations can be for 2 nights or more.
2. Members of SEND International have scheduling priority until Sept. 1.
3. Non-SEND families/couples/singles will be scheduled beginning Sept. 1. Requests can be anytime before that and will be put on a waiting list. They will be filled in the order they were received.
